Components of a Portal Frame

Officeworks: rigid connection

This is a rigid bolted connection making up part of the steel
truss. Pictured are purlins, fly bracing and also some of the
services of the building.

Officeworks: view of truss attached to stanchion

This is a view of one of the parrallel trusses attached to the
stanchion. Cleats are positioned on the top chord of the truss
and Z purlins running perpendicular to the truss are attached
to the cleats. The purlins support the safety mesh, insulation
and roofing materials.
